           Cricket is considered as a religion in India and people are crazy about Cricket, especially in this part of the world. With ICC Cricket World Cup 2011 coming in the year 2011, the game would rise to new levels. And this time major part of it, will be hosted in India.

            India emerged as the new world champions, after West Indies by winning Cricket World Cup 1983 final against the mighty West Indies in the final at Lords on June 25 1983. And team continued as one of the best cricket playing Nation. Now India stands at the top among Cricket playing countries.

            India has entered World Cup finals for 2 times i.e;  in 1983 and 2003. Kapil Dev and Sourav Ganguly led the team respectively. Seven years back, we were not able to merge as world champions.

            Sachin Tendulkar, the leading run-scorer in World Cup history with 1796 runs of 36 matches. Ganguly and Dravid stands at 2nd and 3rd position respectively for India till date. Where as in Bowling Javagal Srinath tops the table with 44 wickets in 34 matches, followed by Anil kumble  with 31 wickets of 18 matches. In present team Zaheer stands at top with 23 wickets of 14 matches.

            Team India needs to be trained well for upcoming World Cup "We should see it lifting trophy at home, which is what any Indian wants, make our wish come alive Team INDIA".

            "Sachin and Dravid have been playing for India from past 21 and 15 years respectively. We want to see them lifting WORLD CUP for INDIA at home" .

            Dravid has been made to stay away from ODI’s, Team India should consider this strongly, because Dravid -"THE WALL OF INDIAN CRICKET" has won plenty of matches for India.. He has been good at bat and as well as in the field, he will continue that, that is where BCCI believe in a promising cricketer..
Our team was not able to play all 50 over in recent tour(SriLanka TriSeries). It should be considered as well.
